Would you like to participate in the latest research in performance science?

The FIT MUSICIAN survey is out!

The FIT MUSICIAN survey is part of the HEartS Professional project conducted by the Centre of Performance Science, Royal College of Music, London.

Findings from the HEartS project have shown that professionals in the arts who have maintained physical activity and/or physical exercise during the various lockdown periods have had a less steep decline in mental health indicators.  We believe that the next step is to investigate physical activity and/or exercise in classical musicians through the FIT MUSICIAN  survey.

We would love to hear from you if you are a professional instrumentalist (not vocalist, this time) whose main source of income is primarily derived from work in the following scenarios:

  • professional orchestral musician

  • professional chamber or duo musician

  • professional freelance musician (portfolio career)

  • postgraduate student in performance practice

Please feel free to also share the link to this survey worldwide on any of your preferred social networks.
